I grew up on the family farm here in Thayne, with my own special set of grandparents. We have all given thanks everyday for the opportunity to live in the most beautiful valley on earth, our "Star of All Valleys."

Having been born in a neighboring State, South Dakota to be exact, I developed a great love for Wyoming and the western way of life. Growing up in Europe left me with another great love...Switzerland. My first reaction to Star Valley was one of "coming home", and that was 35 years ago! This Valley was such an ideal place to raise a young family, so it's no surprise that two out of my three children have never left the area. I now have grandchildren enjoying the same outdoor way of life and taking full advantage of it.
